Reason to Love RR #1:
HOLY SHIT LOOK AT THEM
We love that the Raspberry Republic aesthetic mixes wild Polish creativity with refined Scandinavian design. Magdalena is the artsy “yin” to Piotr’s “yang”, and she’s constantly bouncing wacky ideas off her designers — a pair of Polish children's’ illustrators — or brainstorming strong, candy-bright colours for next season’s designs. If you also see a pared-back minimalism in Raspberry Republic designs… it’s probably because half the company has Swedish roots!
We also love that with each new collection, Raspberry Republic tells a new tale about a journey, place, or destination. This season, Magdalena’s prints walzed a fairytale storyline all around the world... Jazzy Egyptian pharaohs enjoying ice-blocks? Check. South-East Asian shrimp sipping cocktails? Yep. Polish rabbits nibbling raspberries? We’re into it.
Reason to Love RR #2:
Legit (Certified) Organic Cotton
As eco-conscious Mamas know, “organic” has become a bit of a buzzword in kids’ fashion lately. But with many products mislabelled or treated with toxic dyes and chemicals, it can be hard to tell how legit “organic” textiles really are.
That’s another reason to love Raspberry Republic’s cotton goods. They’re 100% bona fide. Raspberry Republic use raw, GOTS-certified Indian cotton to make their kids’ threads. Held to the world’s highest and hardest standards of organic production, Raspberry Republic’s cotton is farmed with low environmental impact, with zero toxic pesticides or fertilisers involved. No irritants here either, making these soft, natural threads ideal for baby garments.

Super-Ethical Production Standards
Okay, this one is a biggie: everything Raspberry Republic makes is produced under ethical working conditions. In the textiles industry, that’s a huge deal.
Magdalena and Piotr are able to visit their factories regularly, because they’ve personally picked all of their production partners. That means that Raspberry Republic garments are designed, printed, and sewn right in their own backyard (Poland!) by well-paid staff, working under EU working standards. Even better, their organic cotton comes from farms with fair working conditions.
Meaning? Their ENTIRE SUPPLY CHAIN is fairly traded, which we find pretty damn impressive.
Reason to Love RR #4:
Designed by Actual Human Parents
‘Aint no finicky bows or choking-hazard rhinestones on Raspberry Republic threads. That’s because Magdalena and Piotr are actual parents to actual 5 year-old twins, and they know that gimmicky add-ons are usually highly dangerous, or super annoying.
Buttons, for example, can be a huge pain in the ass – especially in the middle of the night when your kid is crying and you’re so sleep deprived you can’t see straight. Worse, they’re all too easy for little people to pop in their mouths. So Raspberry Republic’s designs only feature snap-on studs and nice, long zips. We like that.
We’re also stoked that Raspberry Republic’s generous sizes leave heaps of wriggle room for little squirts. (Have we mentioned that we love functional kidswear?)
OUR BOTTOM LINE: Raspberry Republic’s designs win massive brownie points with Stitchfox for their eco cred, ethical focus, mad style, and pure common sense. We rate them 10/10! X
